History

Last Word is a heroic 25 man raid guild on Ner’zhul. Last Word was formed in January of 2012 as a result of a merger between Vitality and Little Rascals. While Last Word is one of Ner’zhul’s younger raiding guilds, the foundation on which the guild has been built on have been in use since 2007.

Under the leadership of Abbador, Little Rascals set out to accomplish as much as possible with the opportunities that have been presented. For example, the guild put together a 10 man a day after forming and was able to score a server seventh Sinestra kill. A month later, Little Rascals managed to defeat Heroic Ragnaros for server sixth kill.

It was these big victories that garnered Little Rascals more server attention – attracting the eyes of many talented players who wanted to be involved in something big on the server. The day before patch 4.3 was released, the officers decided that Little Rascals was ready to transition to a heroic 25 man progression guild. The first week heroic Dragon Soul became available, Little Rascals killed Morchok, the first heroic boss.

However problems with attendance soon began to appear when several core raiders decided to focus their attention on Star Wars: The Old Republic. Fortunately, Star Wars was released a couple of days before Christmas so progression in general had slowed to a halt. This proved to Abbador’s advantage as this provided him and his officers crucial time to brainstorm a couple solutions. After some discussion, the officers decided to do joint raids with another 10 man guild, Vitality.

After raiding with Vitality for a couple of raid resets, a merger between Vitality and Little Rascals was proposed. Before finalizing the deal, both sides wanted to make sure that merging was going to be the right decision. As fate would have it, the joint raid defeated both heroic Yor’sahj the Unsleeping and Hagara the Stormbinder in the same week, sealing the deal.

Once known as Lemmings, Vitality was a well respected heroic 25 man guild throughout most its life. The guild was founded under Lemmus and named Lemmings during the tier 6 era sometime in 2007. Lemmings reached its peak in Sunwell, achieving a world rank of 73. Lemmings continued to raid as a successful heroic 25 man guild under Lemmus’ successor, Veldefice in Wrath of the Lich King.

Sometime during mid tier 10, Lemmings changed its name to Vitality. The reason for the change was primarily to appeal to a more “serious” audience. Under the leadership of Veldefice, Lemmings/Vitality killed Heroic Anub’arak and Heroic Lich King when they were the current endboss. At the onset of Cataclysm, Veldefice decided to step down as Vitality’s leader and named Robeh as Vitality’s next Guild Master. Robeh went on to lead Vitality though 12/13 heroic tier 11 content prior to the release of tier 12.

A couple of weeks after the release of tier 12, Vitality experienced the largest shakeup in its raiding roster since its founding. Robeh stepped down and named Klutched as his successor to the Guild Master of Vitality. Under the leadership of Klutched, Vitality continued on in Firelands as a dying heroic 25 man guild. Klutched tried a couple of different strategies to keep the guild alive, and with the help of a few specific members, Vitality was able to continue raiding as a 25 man guild for sometime longer.

Ultimately, Klutched decided that converting to a heroic 10 man raid guild would be a better decision than continuing on as a struggling 25 man guild. As a heroic 10 man guild, Vitality defeated Heroic Ragnaros and cleared all of tier 13 normal mode before merging with Little Rascals.
